- Imbedded Printer Commands:

- Underline text = {UL} : Bold Print = {BP}
- NewPage = {NP} :

- Place one command in your text at the place where the print command
- is to begin and then place another where the command stops.
-
- For example:
- On this line {BP}This will be in Bold Print{BP} and this will not.
- On this line {UL}This will be Underlined{UL} and this will not.
-
- Placing {NP} on an otherwise blank line will cause a form feed to
- be sent to your printer during the print function.

- Link File Command:

- {L: Filename.Extention}
-
- 'Filename' is the file name and 'Extention' is the files' extention.
-
- For example {L: CHAPTER.TXT}
-
- This command allows you to print one file and then continue printing
- with another file. The command is placed on the last line of the file.
- The linked file may also have a Link Command at it's end. Thus you
- you may link together, while printing, as many files as desired.
-
- Important Note:
- When using the Link command you MUST SAVE your file prior to printing
- or the data will be lost. The linked file, will overwrite the memory
- of the current loaded file! Be sure to use the curly brackets '{' '}'.
-
- This command DOES NOT work with the Mail List Merge Print function.

- ON SCREEN FORMATING:

- Re-Format a Paragraph
-
- Place cursor on first line of paragraph to be re-formed.
-
- Press Function Key "F8" to re-form the paragraph with right and left
- justification in a block format.
-
- Paragraphs greater than 5000 characters or 66 lines, can not be
- re-formated properly and will have a blank line inserted when the
- formater reaches its' maximum.

- Centering
-
- Place cursor at beginning of line a press function key "F7" to
- center all text on that line.

- A BLOCK of text such as a paragraph, may be MARKED and copied to another
- location. The copied BLOCK of text is not automatically deleted from its
- original location. If desired use delete line command AFTER moving text.

- Mark Top of BLOCK to be copied by placing the cursor anywhere on the Top
- line of the BLOCK/Paragraph and press "CTRL-T" (remember T is for Top)
-
- Next - Move the cursor to the Bottom line of the BLOCK you want copied
- and press "CTRL-B" (remember B is for Bottom).
-
- Finally, move the cursor to the beginning of the line where you want to
- to move the BLOCK of text to and Press "CTRL-K" (remember K is for Kopy).
-
- Mark and Copy BLOCK Commands: Mark Top of Text Block = Ctrl-T
- Mark Bottom of Text Block = Ctrl-B
- Copy Marked Text Block = Ctrl-K
-
- You may copy or load in a text file from disk, at the cursor location,
- by using the Ctrl-L command (remember L is for Load). You will be prompt-
- ed for a file name when using the Ctrl-L Command. The cursor should be
- on a blank line. Only 66 lines maximum maybe loaded using Ctrl-L.

- Mail List Merge:
-
- Name and address files may be merged to a form letter by creating
- a disk text file where the data to merged is delimited by the "@"
- at sign. The following is an example of the format. You must end
- the file with double at signs "@@" on the last line.

- Place the following in the letter at the place you want to merge
- the name and address "{@}". You may also merge the first name of
- the first line of each address by placing the following symbols
- in your letter "{^}". The last name of the first line may be
- inserted with "{^^}". See the Sample files: NAMES.TXT and LETTER.TXT.
